What have you just bought?

A visit to the vet. Sadly it is time to say goodbye to my 22 year old cat. This day is fucking me up.
omg i'm so sorry :(

i've done it 3 times already and will have to do it another 3 times in the future. i know how it feels and it's horrible. it's definitely one of the hardest things i've had to do in my life.

you need to know that you're doing the kindest thing for them because you don't want them to suffer. think of all the times you got to spend with your cat. when i miss mine i think of all the times they done goofy shit and made me laugh.

i got an air fryer. i went with the "NINJA Foodi MAX Dual Zone AF400UK Air Fryer"

I checked some reviews and it was between either a Ninja or Instant something. Didn't like the look of the Instant ones. I could've got the smaller 7.6L Ninja at £220 but this one is 9.5L and it was £250. So for the extra £30 I might as well get a bigger capacity.

It'll be delivered tomorrow :D

I bought a sex doll, but I keep it inflated 100% of the time and use it like a regular wife

Looks nice! I love that it has two compartments each with a different timer. That'll be quite useful for sure, I tell ya.

I don't know anything about them but yeah seems handy.

This might be a stupid question but do you need to use oil with them? lol. Do you just throw shit in and cook it or do you need to add some oil?
I think that depends on what you are going to cook. For example, I buy freezed fries and those come with just a tiny bit of oil, so I don't add any.
But I also buy fish in breadcrumbs and that cames out perfect without any oil.

My advice: google and youtube. Air fryers have become quite mainstream so there are tons and tons of recipes online. Have fun!

I'll mostly just be using it to cook frozen food and maybe the odd vegetables like onions/mushrooms. If i can cook potatoes in it then them too!

It's always horrible when your buddy has to go. I've had cats all my live and have always been very attached to them. However this one in particular has always been incredibly focused on me. Waiting for as I came home. Meowing when she couldn't find me and so on.

Picture from my phone but somehow on the PC the quality makes it look like I've failed with photoshopping (didn't do anything with it). Seeing the size it's in a spoiler tag.

my work gave me £1100 they owed me. paid almost £300 in tax and national insurance on it though :messenger_unamused: so really it's like just over £800 i got.

trying to decide what to spend it all on :D

either i'll use it towards upgrading my PC (already had £1,000 saved for that) or i'll use it for travelling. there's a few places i want to go. will need to look about and see where i can go and for how much.

OR .... i wanted to go see Paramore + Blink 182 this year. The tickets are ridiculously expensive. I just checked but it seems Paramore is sold out now so that's out the window. Blink tickets are anywhere between £90-240. I don't want shitty seats. The tickets at £240 are still seating tickets :messenger_loudly_crying: Hopefully there will be some standing tickets released.

So many things I can do with this kind of money! I'll be getting another £400 or so in a couple months.

I need a tiller to start a garden, why did you choose this one.
I've rented one a couple of times and I like how despite it being very lightweight it's powerful enough to really dig in and break up my soil. I have a big enough place and do enough gardening that instead of renting one over a couple of weekends a couple of times a year it's more cost effective to just own my own.

Not sure where you live but if there's a Home Depot close by you can rent one for a day to try it out.

Thanks, Right now I am planning on borrowing my Father In Laws. I just need to get my garden going. I may just do planter boxes.

That's a good option.

A lot of the lightweight tillers just bounce around when they meet densely packed soil or clay. I've had good success in that kind of environment with this model tiller. Otherwise you need some massive behemoth to get you started the first time.

I looked at something I could hook up to my mower.

Man so sorry to read this.

I took my lil boy (14yr old sausage doggo) to the vet today as his bloods and urine tests weren't good prior to getting some dental work on Monday; so they cancelled the dental and did some investigations when a specialist was in today.

UTI, stone in his bladder and some of growth in his bladder that could potentially close over the ureters, but also found he is in renal failure.

He's good for the moment, but none of the above is good news and obviously means the day I have dreaded for so long is closing in. He's such a hardy lil trooper and has lived with Diabetes and Cushing's for years now and he has never whinged, never complained throughout all the needles and times he's gotten sick. Kills me inside :(

a taxi ride becuase i had to drop the car off. couldn't be fucked walking home even though it would've only took about 30 minutes. would've been cheaper getting a bus but couldn't be fucked waiting about for it and i'm too much of an anxious mess to go on a bus. i remember the last time i was on a bus and that was August 2009 in New York. i hate buses i'm more of a train person when it comes to public transport.

so yeah...a taxi ride. £5.70 it cost by the way if anyone was interested.

I'm waiting on my Ninja air fryer thing being delivered that I bought on Tuesday. it should be here in the next hour. I paid fucking £10 to get it YESTERDAY between 12-5PM but usual DPD are being rip off merchants. "Your parcel was delayed but we've fixed it!" bullshit you cunts. What's the fucking point paying for a time slot delivery if you can't deliver it on time you fucking muppetrons!

Was gonna get laid but I couldn't be fucked.
I really am too lazy. can't be fucking doing anything. Been at work and couldn't be arsed walking home. I was going to go for a mcdonalds but couldn't be fucked with that either. Could order one but i want to give my air fryer a shot later when it arrives. If it ever fucking does.

Can you get a refund since they missed the window? You could always hold the delivery guy as a bargaining chip.

Probably not worth the hassle. I ordered it from Currys and it's being delivered by DPD. If i contact Currys they'll just come up with some bullshit excuse that it's out of their control which I suppose it is. It's just that DPD mob being absolute wanks. They've gone downhill the last few years. They pull that shite and they also sneak up to your house and lightly tap on the fucking brick wall instead of the door then wait a split second before deciding you're not at home. Honestly I'll be surprised if I get the fucking thing today.

edit: woohoo my air fryer was just delivered. gonna go fry shit.

I bought a dishwasher. Bosch 100 series. Our old one died.
Bosch are amazing. I use one at home. It’s silent and it does a great job cleaning the dishes. Be very careful and don’t spill excess water on the front cover. It’ll throw an error code and you have to take it out to tilt it to clear it. We got Whirlpool for everything else and I hate their fridges. Everything feels so cheap and we’ve had two warranty claims on a broken hinge and the entire right hand door.

I had a Bosch in my last house. I really thought it was great. So when the kitchen aide here died I bought a Bosch again. They are excellent.

Paid off a chunk of my credit card (so my air fryer) but went shopping yesterday. Didn't buy much. Stocked up on noodles and spices for cooking! Mostly chilli stuff cause I actually rarely eat anything without chillis or hot spices in it.

My favourite noodles have been out of stock for a while now :messenger_crying: but they finally had them back in! Grabbed like 8 packets so should do me a while!

Was going to buy new PC parts but looks like the 7950X3D is already sold out for the next month and the motherboard I want is sold out. There is one place selling it but it's more expensive. No rush though cause I need to wait until everything is in stock. Need more time save money up as well! It's going to cost me about £1,600. I have about £1,300 saved up so far.

lottery tickets. it's about 8 entries i did. it is done twice a week and i've done it for both days for 4 weeks. i never buy lottery tickets because i think they are a waste of money but someone at my work won £3,600,000 so i thought fuck it i'm giving it a shot! you never know and "you need to be in it to win it" :messenger_neutral:

as for what i want to buy, i need to buy some replacement screen protectors for my phone. i dropped my phone but luckily i had a tempered glass screen protector on it which took the hit and saved me having to give Apple £350. i do have some spare screen protectors and i put one on it for now but it's not as thick as my previous one. and if i dropped it the same way i did then it wouldn't save my screen because it doesn't cover the entire glass panel. my protector cracked right at the edge and they are exposed now with the new one.
