I drive in Iowa a lot for work. Whenever I go north I see these things by the dozens. It feels very dystopian, like I could watch the landscape for hours and hours. I travel to the southern part of the state and there are no turbines. Instead they have these big signs that are all “anti wind farms”. Funny thing is, someone put out a large batch of solar panels, so I don’t know what exactly is going on.
If you ever get the chance drive in the northern part of the thumb of Michigan….these things are all over, and there are so many yard signs saying “no” to them. It’s like a weird, save the earth or not type silent battle out there lolI drive in Iowa a lot for work. Whenever I go north I see these things by the dozens.
