The original RX78 is timeless. I love the simplicity of the suits over the gimmicky bullshit of like SEED and 00.

Grypps, NZW I and II, Formula Wars and Zane care Wars suits are my favorites though.

But yeah man, the Gundam, Zakus, GMs, Acguy, Gog, Gyan, Gelgoog, Zeong, so many great suits

Hell the Zakrello shits on most AU suits.

Granted I hated G, but I don't like hot blood out side of Ryoma or Apollo but G is really beloved so hopefully you have the more common reaction to it!

I can understand why someone would think 0079's designs are ugly, but I like the lot of 'em. I like the blockier aesthetic more than the angular ones of 00 and such. Exia is cool, though.

Not usually a fan of Katoki, but I do like his version of the RX-78 the most.

Kai's a cynic that spends most of the series snarking, but it's usually the truth that the rest of the crew wants to ignore. The episode with Miharu is one of my favorites.

He gets his own badass moments too:

I don't like 0079 but the Katoki 78-2 Is awesome and his Full Armor Gundam Even better and has done alot for making me like at least some forms of the RX line outside of Nu.

Or at the very least listen to the OST on Youtube its the best Gundam has ever been on the OST front. Though I do have to admit their overall opinion on Destiny is something I very much agree with.

Daisuki has a 2 week free trial. aka I am going to try and watch G and wing within 2 weeks.

That is alot of Gundam in two weeks lol.

That said if you do still like G. Check out the Retelling of G in Manga form, it makes G much better and has some cool elements.

Not as big a step up of Glory of the Losers for Wing, but still a much needed improvement.

I hope that if they animate Crossbone they don't try to base the art style off of the manga. The character art of that manga is not good. Seabook looks nothing like how he looks in F91.

Almost done with Zeta Gundam, just over 10 episodes remaining. Really loving it.

The Day of Dakar episode was fantastic and really reminds me of the final episodes of IBO with them trying to Kudelia and Makanai to parliament.

I like the 90s style that Hasegawa uses though. I mean they can adapt the character designs, but it should keep true to the source. Hathaway's Flash has Haruhiko Mikimoto on character designs, so that would be an awesome adaptation. If they plan to adapt all of Origins, I doubt anything on that list will be animated.

If there is a Crossbone anime, I really hope there's an anime-original flashback arc containing post-F91 pre-Crossbone stuff. Characters mention the fact that there was a civil war between Cecily and her brother for control of CB, but I want to see it.

Pretty sure he means the original Gundam character designer and manga artist (of Origin fame) Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, aka Yas.

And they really should try to be close to the original manga style/designs. A Crossbone anime would be for Crossbone fans. Just because I don't like it doesn't mean they should change anything. I wonder if they'd do a full anime series or a short OVA.

I'm assuming that if Sunrise did do an animated Crossbone, they would probably remake F91 and include that in the series too.

Even though it might piss off people who wanted to see Crossbone next, I kinda think the best direction to go would be to do F91 retelling + Crossbone civil war backstory as a season 1, then Crossbone proper for a season 2.

I would love a forumla wars anime. Start from the beginning with the cold war between SNRI and AE. Go from F90 all the way through Crossbone.

I would like major redesigns for Crossbones though. I don't like the goofier designs.

The talks of this poll made me look into Crossbone some more since I am only familiar with the mobile suit. With that I found out that F91 is a movie, for some weird reason I though it was a show. I'll probably watch it after I get through 08th MS Team now.

Char's Z'Gok is my current favorite 0079 suit. It really, really, REALLY grew on me the last year or so. I thought it was silly before but the general design of the Zeon aquatic suits are some of my favorite in the franchise. I was a Gouf supporter for a long time but its now my #2, along with the Dom being my #3 (more a fan of the Dreissen from ZZ and Unicorn) Of course Char being my favorite character in that series. Along with Mirai for some reason, she put up with a lot of bullshit but still came out without being precieved as a massive bitch or getting Tomio'd to death in some nonsense way.

Hygogg being the GOAT of all time in the foreverness of the universe of course. Seriously would kill for a MG or revive of this beast.

Favorite 0079 suit. Zaku II baby. Still one of the best suit designs. Doms are pretty great too.

Favorite character: Char. The whole cast is pretty great. I have a soft spot for Dren. Amuro is fantastic, as are the rest of the white base crew.
