Poor mon-el, get that man a breathing mask so he can hang out on earth.
Guys, Reign is an actual Supergirl villain lol:
http://dc.wikia.com/wiki/Reign_(Prime_Earth)
Pretty blank slate though, they could do anything with her. Maybe she's Lena?
Also I swear to god if Mon-El didn't take a trip to the 31st century I'm going to be furious. Stop teasing the Legion and just do it already.
"Wow Kara sure beat me even though she was holding back and I was going ham !"
"I definitely wasn't weakened whatsoever and I was at full strength"
"Kara beat me so she's the champion of Earth !"
"Ooooh look at me I can't save a city ! But at least I'm able to beat a random punk ! <3"
"You're stronger than I'll ever be Kara"
Can they try to be any worse at this point ?
Have Supergirl be faster, smarter, less flawed as a human being would be a great idea, hammering the fact that Superman is basically worthless and pathetic in every way possible compared to her is about the worst thing you can do.
Kara literally outbrawling Superman for no reason while she's holding back on top of it all was just the last straw for me.
He sucks so hard in this universe. :/
I love both characters, and there has been maaaany stories where both can shine at the same time through different attributes, and it's really not what they're doing.
If you're gonna do this to Superman, how about you don't fucking have Superman at all ? Easy win win situation.
Blergh.
Sorry for the nerd Superman fan rant.
- Genuinely surprised they seemingly wrote Mon-el out of the show.
i still like him as superman...
How did you get that?
Well he still rushes head first into obvious traps, he can't fight for shit, and he admits his moral is compromised because of Lois.
Yuck.
Thats their only move because Kara and the show absolutely suck outside of her personality(and Lena). The special effects and mostly flying were really well done. Especially for TV.
The Kara fight at the end against Teri was pathetic though but that was a minor part.
The rest was rather cringe. The goodbye with mon-el did not work at all.
Also why is Cat Grant the best thing in this show ? How did they manage that ? I watch this on and off and I've skipped at least a dozen episodes but she's like a constant.
The show is really not working for me because it keeps falling for the same tropes over and over and over and I'm getting tired of it.
He could work as Superman.
I just hate how they have to shit on him 100% to make Kara look better, instead of having both do great things and have Kara be a notch above. So that you're impressed with both characters, because they're both amazing. Not "oh wow he sucks... Guess she's really much better after all".
He has nothing over her. Experience was the only thing left and... Well he still rushes head first into obvious traps, he can't fight for shit, and he admits his moral is compromised because of Lois.
Yuck.
I was hoping after the Star Wars thing that we'd see a Supes and Jimmy heart to heart.
Is every season going to end with a new Kryptonian pod?
Episode has next to no Jimmy. They even forgot to write him out.

If Kara were smart, she'd have called Barry to bring Mon-El to Earth 1.
Yeah, but then you just know they'd pair up Mon-El with Caitlin.

And considering his reputation, Chris Wood himself with Iris or Caitlin in real life.
What does that mean? Dude is a playboy in real life?
He was on The Vampire Diaries and dated Nina Dobrev.
He was on Containment and dated Hanna Mangan-Lawrence.
He was on Supergirl and dated Melissa Benoist.
Yeah those lines were pretty hard to watch for me, also a big Superman fan. I get that Kara is the main character but they were really hammering how much better than Superman she is in every conceivable way.

Didn't know he and Kara were together outside the show.
Well, she is.
Same as in the comics.
What an asshole. Although, I think my wife would understand if I left her for Melissa Benoist. I think her crush on Melissa is stronger than mine. She was married too! Chris Wood's allure is that strong!
Well, he is hot. I'd date him.

Is that true ? I dont see how it makes sense in the show when he was already Superman when she arrived at earth, He must have had way more experience fighting with power of Sun and all.

Kara was a teenager when she left Krypton. It's only fair to assume that she had a better starting point for her powers/DEO training.

Look how fucked the villain position was this season.Season 3 definitely needs a better villain arc/story direction.
