i thought it would take till the 16th like they said
also here is all the minis i've gotten. still on the look out for a Super Famicom
I just picked up a $20 KV20FS120 and hid it in my garage because my wife is going to kill me.
The addiction is real
Because most CRTs and speakers are big and boxy. Those sharp angles are totally not fetch.
She loves me, and puts up with my hobby. She just knows now if I get packages from Japan, china, or anywhere else outside of North America, that I'll be tinkering or playing something and preoccupied.
Yeah, I would never buy anything over $50 without talking with her first. That seems like a recipe for disaster.
Current discussion: "So you bought the PS4 Pro, why again do you need an Xbox One X? You have an Xbox One."
She's right. I know she's right. But I also need a 4k UHD disc player...
One S does 4K blu as well

Heard the player wasn't that great. Hoping the One X has better reviews. Plus, gotta feed my tech addiction somehow.
What about a scenario where u trade in the One and get the One X discreetly and hope the spouse does not notice?
Sleeping on the cooooooouuuuuuuch! Seriously though, she would know. My wife is super observant, and we actually pay attention to each other's hobbies for the most part. Plus, again, I'd never spend more than $50 without consulting her.
Also, my daughter would be the first to find out. She loves to push the Xbox button on the front of the One. "BOO-BE-DOO" and LIGHTS UP! Then a few seconds later: "DOO-DEE-DOO" and powers down.
Over and over.

Just bought a Switch in impulse. Been a while since I just up and bought a new piece of gaming hardware. Usually its the old stuff for me. Any of you retro-minded folks have game recommendations from the eShop? Ill be getting several of the big 1st party games. Never had a WiiU

So, I've been playing Metroid 3DS for a bit now off and on and I've decided that it just isn't that good. I am playing it because it's a "Metroid" and not because it's a Metroid.

Blaster Master Zero is my favourite game on the Switch. And it just got a new update to fix the non-integer scrolling, so its 100% amazing now.
Oh really? Might take a look.Blaster Master Zero is my favourite game on the Switch. And it just got a new update to fix the non-integer scrolling, so its 100% amazing now.

I'm into a speed run now to get the best ending and it is by far the most sophisticated control set up in a Metroid game. Running through levels precisely capping enemies with ice beam then melee is Matrix-like stuff. There's a part where you have to run from a giant drill and my fuck does it really highlight how shit ass fuck the controls are.
I'm torn now, the 3D is really great in it, but a game like this does give me hand cramps. 3DS is fine for simpler controlling games, I never had issues with 3D land, but add lots of shoulder button use and cramp city.I really wish this was on the Switch though the 3DS gives my hands cramps.

The circle pad just kills me in that game. I hate having it being the primary control. Oh well, just 12 more Metroids to go I've had a pretty okay time with it so far.

Mark of the Wolves.
Ha, just played a demo and am loving it. Will probably get it next. Thinking Volgar, Dragon's Trap or Golf Story after that. I really just want a ton of 2D and indie games on this thing.
My first purchase was ... Mario Bros. I've always loved that game. Gotta go retro from the get-go.
What's the best Neo Geo fighter now available on it? I'd like a fairly casual experience. I'm not a big FG player. Maybe original SamSho or Fatal Fury Special???
My wife is great but I have to admit I'm very glad I get home from work before she does so I can hide some of my deliverys! She still hasn't noticed the ps4 in our living room changed to a pro and she probably won't!
My buddy just got married last year. A few months later, he bought a PSVR the day it came out due to hype without telling his wife. She walked into the house and saw it strapped on his face and her reaction, apparently, wasn't so good.
She must have forgiven him because she just bought him a Switch for his birthday.

I got a 3rd party grip for 3DS and it really helps with the comfort level.
For a more casual fighter, check out Galaxy Fight or Waku Waku 7.
I love Mark of the Wolves, but it's fairly advanced in comparison.
The movement in the game is less like Zero Mission or Fusion, and more like Super or Metroid 1. It's slower paced and a bit more cumbersome. Once I figured that out, I started appreciating the game a bit more. I never had an issue entering the morph ball with the circle pad though.
I'm definitely going to update you guys as I continue to play this one. It's an interesting game as far as what the devs are going for. I'm curious to see how it progresses as I continue to unlock more of the game.
Thanks. I think MOTW is probably more than I can chew. Believe it or not, I am considering the Street Fighter 2 port, even thought it's mega over priced.
How are the sales on the eShop? That's one thing I really love about PSN.
Sneaking in your Amazon parcels is the meta game.
