3rd session tonight
This is an amazing tattoo. I love the style and the tattooist is clearly very talented, you should be really proud of this.
Thank you, I love the tattoo and I love the artist, he's doing an incredible job. But that's exactly why I went to him, I'd seen his work and knew I didn't want anyone else. It's turning out better than I imagined, so very happy and can't wait till it's finished, possibly in just one more session!
3rd session tonight
So, this is a tattoo that I immensely enjoy. I don't want to just straight copy it, but I wouldn't mind something similar to it. Please pardon the footer, I hate myself for even finding it on that site, but its the only one I could find.
This looks amazing. Who is the artist?
I'm in the UK, can I ask which tattooist you went too?
Finally got my piece finished. Just some touch up work now, I think, but we'll have to see once it's fully healed.
Nate Monster. It's a "nickname" of sorts for my son, because he can be a real monster when he gets tired.Cute. What does the writing say?
I'm going to do something similar (I don't have kids yet but plan on it, so I'm leaving a blank spot on the arm)
I was wanting to do 2 bears down below my elbow to represent me and my spouse, both looking up into the night sky (on my shoulder) at the Ursa Major and Ursa minor bear constellations (to symbolize our eternity). In between I wanted to do something for each kid that we have in the future....probably a different bird or animal in the sky between the other 2 pieces.
I'm going to represent them through symbolism rather than words.
Got some work done today
Got some work done on Sunday... only got two hours in, but next session doing the inside and color/shading.
Should be fun.
Sorry for the gigantor-sized pics.
"Mother"
"Father"
Also have "Son" on the base of my neck, but kinda hard to snap a pic of it by myself.
What is this? Looks very Baizley-esque.
Hit it right on the head!
It's one of Baizley's pieces with some liberties taken by my artist. On the inner part of my arm we are going to "reverse" it, I can't wait.
First tattoo, I got it done yesterday.. to say it was painful would be an understatement.

It's like i've seen this before...did you get the idea from another tattooed gaffer? anyways, cool tattoo.
So just had the 4th and final session on my comic sleeve. Like, literally just now so it's a bit pink. I'll post more pics in a few weeks when it's healed....

Looking for some advice: I'm planning to get my fourth and final (for now) tattoo which will be a pin-up of Catwoman on my left upper arm. It will be in black&white with some shading. Maybe the lips will be red but that depends on the outcome, I generally dont like coloured tattoos.
I'm having trouble deciding over which picture to base the tattoo on. I have narrowed it down to these three. Which one do gaf think would work best?
The middle is my favourite, it's really too bad she is lying down
The third would be heavily modified to make it alot simpler and more like the first one in details.
Yess oracrest has the same tattoo. Except I had to draw the whole thing only by looking at the pictures of his tattoo, which translated into this -
Here's a bunch of the work I've had done within the past year and a half. I'm still trying to nail down a design for my 9th

Does the tattoo use white ink too (on the sand trail, for example), or does it just look that way because of the blackwork on white skin? Either way, it's really striking, great work from your artist! So just had the 4th and final session on my comic sleeve. Like, literally just now so it's a bit pink.
