Prediction entries must be in and finalized by 4 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, September 12th. This is to close entries before the Canadian numbers can come in. If the Canadian numbers come in before that time, the deadline will not change for this month, but next month's deadline would be earlier.

NPD Release: September 13th @ 4:00 p.m. EDT (thread posted around 6:30 p.m. EDT)
NPD Coverage: August 5 - September 1 (4 weeks, July was 4 weeks)

Answer: Yes
* Bioshock vs. Metroid Prime 3: The grudge match that only exists in some hardcore gamers' minds.
* Can DS top Wii this month?
* Brain Age 2: Walking speed or rocket ship?
* PSP: Running out of stock before PSP Slim launch in September?

has there been any pr out of microsoft concerning any impacts of the price drop? seems like we had a few statements from sony in the weeks following their own drop.

[Wii] 350k - Amazon shipments were lower than August's
[360] 260k - finally outsold the Ps2. for one month at the very least
[PS2] 200k - dying
[PSP] 150k - PSP lite anticipation
[PS3] 125k - Price cut effects will not last long
[GBA] 80k - waiting for a chance to pounce on the PS3 again


software predictions:

Madden: 360 will win, Wii worse selling if you exclude the DS/PSP/last gen machines
Bioshock: 500k
Metroid Prime 3: 300K, better legs than Bioshock
Blue Dragon: 120k, bomba for all the time and effort they put into this thing
Brain Age 2: 200k but will exhibit massive legs
Warhawk: 80K, most will download it
Lair: 50k, bomba of epic propotions
Tiger Woods: 360 wins again, then Wii. Wii version will sport better legs and end up outselling, or come very close to 360 totals.
Boogie: bomba, but will not sting as muhc as Lair.
Carnival Games: 120K, the come out of nowhere game of the month
