Well it is a baseline rather than an average. If both of them spend a whole year hovering around their baselines then you can prepare those joint apartments for cats and dogs.

It's a bad over shipment no doubt but then so is Evil Within and people seem to think that title did well for some reason.
I know, we are looking at <10.000 second week for sure so that's why I said that it'll be lucky to reach 100.000 LTD (maybe with the bomba bin help).

If PSV Tales of could double first week's numbers, then I don't see why Reve Unitia shouldn't, being on a higher userbase and well positioned for Winter holidays. Of course it will drop next week, but so did the other Tales of games, and then they had twice the debut's numbers.

It's pretty well known in Japan. There are also different versions of it, like a manager game and one where you play a pitcher/batter etc. Add to that the fact that it has been around since SNES times...so, yeah.

That is an awesome as hell library. I wonder if it'll be enough to push the market over towards PS4 though. If Dragon Quest was only on PS4 that would definitely be enough but despite bundling I feel the PS3 may hold it back from that. But Bloodborne I think will also do quite well (I'm optimistically predicting a debut of around 200k) and get the ball rolling and all the other titles will just add to that momentum. Hopefully it'll be enough.

Monster Hunter 4G is half a million units behind Monster Hunter 4 launch aligned, digital sales are still unknown.
It's worth noting that Monster Hunter 4 was still severely supply constrained, sell-through in its third week was 99%, supply issues lasted until its fifth week. This doesn't seem to be the case for Monster Hunter 4G.

I'm quite surprised the Vita version of Jikkyou hoovered up so many extra sales just because the PSP version doesn't exist anymore (it nearly double last year's FW sales, iirc?)
Those Tales of numbers are... okay. To be honest, I don't care if future escort titles come to 3DS or Vita (both performances are equally average really), as long as they don't switch to mobile. And I hope these numbers are enough to convince Namco of that.

Price drop is good but Sony can still do great with 2015 because of their line up and they need this money more to recover completely as a Sony. We can expect a price drop around holidays 2015 at least (or) if microsoft do a permanent price cut for xbox one to 350$ then sony may bring the cut early to match them to remove the xbox advantage.
Yea, I didn't realize that the start of the year was that packed.
Way more games here that I am interested in than this entire holiday season.

I assume its largely due to a lack of games. Last year it seemed that Wii U sales did get pretty strong in November/December, though.

No way in hell they will launch Zelda in 2015 - they will drop Majoras Mask 3D next year and say they need more development time for Zelda U. Which is fine....
Though if they can deliver it next year and still have big games to look forward to for 2016 - well good for them, just dont see it happen.
Konami released two(?) MLB versions of the series on the Wii, only a very small amount of people care about Japanese baseball in America.
