Japanese Music (Pop, rock and all 'dat) |OT|

Ozaki from CreepHyp (クリープハイプ) also wrote a song for that album, interesting...

That's why I like the Stardust groups. They make some really interesting choices when it comes to songwriters. Momoclo has that KISS thing coming up, which I'm sure will probably suck, but it's at least novel.

heck, Ebichu had a b-side written by Baku Baku Dokin recently

I think they have to be very careful with Nogi. They're the one group that continues to trend up, so morphing them into another 48 group may not be the best of ideas. They're still more of a classic idol group, which is what I think is helping their popularity. I just kinda think that it may be a better idea to keep them separated and continue to let them grow without going down any of the usual AKB paths.

That would have been nice. I just don't see that happening anytime soon or at all anymore. They're essentially becoming what seems like a sub group of AKB48 just not officially. Members being able to hold concurrent positions in both groups. The mini sub groups that spin off like Kojizaka46 and now the upcoming Sashizaka46. Nogizaka46 being included in the AKB48 Kouhaku Utagassen. Can they really be considered rivals anymore? They're just becoming more and more connected.

Nishino Nanase appears to be getting a photobook soon as well now.

Miki ranked #1 for her reactions by other members. Example 1 from the newest episode of AKB Shirabe. This might even be worse than how she reacted to the robot dog on AKBINGO awhile back.

Just got JPN from Perfume and I love it! I have everything from JPN onward. Any news on when a new album will be released?

nope. they put out a whopping 1 single/EP this year and toured. but if history is an indication maybe by the end of 2015?

also, get GAME, that and Level 3 are far and away my favorite releases.

S/MILEAGE IS NOW “ANGERME”
It has been revealed that Hello! Project group s/mileage will continue group activities as ANGERME from now on. Back in September the name change was decided after a third generation of girls were added to the group. S/mileage originally debuted as a 4 piece group in June 2009 with “aManojaku”, the following year their major debut single “Yumemiru 15″ was released. Ayaka Wada and Kanon Fukuda are the sole remaining original members.

The new name was apparently thought up by member Kana Nakanishi. ANGERME is supposed to be the french pronunciation of “angel” and “tears”. Kana explained that the members of the group (angels) must work together in-order to achieve their goals, and once those goals are met they’ll be overcome with joy and cry. The angel evokes an image of hope, and the tears represent happiness.

lol. sure. ok.

I've been listening to GAME on youtube and as soon as I come across $20, I'm ordering it on ebay! Yasutaka Nakata is a Master at what he does no doubt!

I personally think its better than their last 2 albums, but we will never get the old Dir En Grey back. Man those first few albums were perfect. PERFECT!!

White White sisters have a new album out and I can't stop listening to its. Its less abstract than their last 2 mini-albums, but what its here is meaty album with a lot of crossover genres such as Punk, Shoegaze, Electronica and even Dubstep.

The covers of their upcoming EP are gorgeous.

Sad news time, the telephones announced that they're going to stop their activities for a while in 2015. They'll perform at the legendary Budokan for the first time ever in May before going on a break. I hope they'll be back soon...

Already posted the info on this page :lol
And they're not breaking up, they're just taking a break for a while (who knows when they'll come back though).

MezzoForte you will be happy to hear that the cabs's guitarist started a solo project called osterreich, he'll be in charge of Tokyo Ghoul √A's opening song.

indeed I am happy to hear this news, thanks for the heads up. Interesting to note that a member of haisuinoasa will provide guest vocals (dat zankyo connection). It probably won't sound a whole lot like the cabs but the art shown there is pitching a darker tone/aesthetic, so I'm liking where this is going already. Anxious to hear a sample.
