I think this has moved to the top of the list of things that piqued my interest........
Watched this last night. It's a uh, experience.
Unpopular opinion, but I'm a big fan of Saw, though not all movies are good.Question. What do you guys think is the best long-running horror franchise and what's the worst? My vote for best is a nightmare on elm street. The first and third I think are legit great movies. The rest are at least fun. Halloween would be a close second for me. The worst has to go to Friday the 13th for me. None of those movies I would consider great. There is some fun to be had with them but that's it. And titties of course.

I've watched the VHS tape so many times back in the day. The acting was cheesy as fuck but it is so classic. This takes me back. Loved witchboard back in the day.
This looks great. I love the original.

A list of 262 films compiled on Letterboxd, including 1990: The Bronx Warriors (1982), 22 Jump Street (2014), 3:10 to Yuma (2007), Absurd (1981) and Akira (1988).letterboxd.com
Everything I've acquired so far!
Can't see the picture so no idea what movie you're talking about.
Hmm... looks like a disney movie!Fixed
The only horror movies I really love are the Saw movies (but not all) and Cube and Cube Zero.
Also, the "Harper's Island" series.
Generally I really love this "One person dies after the other and you need to figure out what's going on" style.
I also would like to know the answer to that. I just can´t seem to take Italian horror seriously with how bad they feel to me. I do not deny the quality of some sound tracks (Tenebre, Profondo Rosso, Suspiria,...) and some select scenes (the witch exposition in Suspiria, the herb hallway walk ...), but as a whole, just nope.Is there something I’m missing about Giallo films?
The only way it’s good is an ‘it’s so bad it’s good’ way. Even Susperia isn’t really much better than an amateur film student attempt.
Watched Stagefright earlier and it’s so fucking poor. Bad acting, bad writing, bad editing, and as usual in many Italian horrors it has one of the worst soundtracks ever made. With the exception of Goblin I’m pretty sure no bands used in Giallo films ever actually know what scenes their music will be accompanying.
Good flick
don't sue me pls if you got a heart attack

Have you watched Tenebre? It’s my favourite Argento film and a damn fine Giallo thriller.
Umberto Lenzi...don't forget him ✌My favorite horror is probably Italian stuff from guys like Argento, Bava (both father and son... Demoni is just amazing), Fulci, Romero, D'Amato and Deodato.
Much grittier and surreal compared to Hollywood's output (which I enjoy too, but I find them less interesting).
That’s how I picture resetera usersSleepaway Camp
Here's a list of not-so-well-known titles from the 70's-80's worth looking at that were B-grade -- but good:Movies, comics, games, toys, whatever that has to do with horror goes here.
So I'll start easy, let's talk about 80s horror. That's my favorite decade for horror movies.
Also, anyone know of any good horror movie toys that aren't too mainstream? I always have my eye out for something really. Only thing is across the board I don't like figures that have cloth on them.
The first one combat and level design were far superior than the second one.Anyone in this thread actually really love The Evil Within? The first one is one of my favorite horror games, not a big fan of the second one.
Disagree on the second having better character development. They tossed Joseph, Ruvik and Leslie aside and ignored the ending of TEW1, then introduced a bunch of one dimensional new characters that all died soon after. I forgot all of their names as soon as I finished the game. The first one combat and level design were far superior than the second one.
However, the second one had better story plot and character development.
It's a shame that we won't see a third entry for this ip
