Fake outrage because white men are being discriminated against? C'mon now. The MTV video starts off as a New Year resolution list for some white guys. And to not be aware of your privilege does not mean it does not exist.

Ethan is acting like these low tier YouTubers that pretend that white men get discriminated against on a daily basis.

Interesting is the Podcast hurting their channel? They said before they wanted to upload more on their main channel to stay relevant with youtube and the podcast seems to be doing decent numbers. Podcast seems a high quality that putting it on their second channel after neglecting it might be bad for it.

Ethan seems pretty comfortable with the podcast already. I would just say cut back at interrupting and cut back at asking the same questions over and over again. I felt he pressed on a particular question for too long a few times. And I always more Hila in either channel!

I just started watching their videos yesterday, I must've gone through about 80 now and holy fuck, this is my new favorite thing. I fucking love, love Ethan and Hila

He got popular a few years back doing a series called "Kickstarter Crap" where he would go over various terrible Kickstarter campaigns. Around that time he also started doing a series called "Bad Unboxing" which is a parody of sorts of unboxing videos on Youtube.

More recently he's got a series called "Content Cop" which looks at certain Youtube channels and calls them out on being shitty in one way or another. He's done takedown videos on Keemstar, Leafy, toy review channels, etc. One of those Content Cop videos was on food review channels, which is what his "Legit Food Reviews" are parodying.

He also has been in a few videos with Filthy Frank, mainly Franks "Cake" trilogy.

No way those views are legit, right? They are buying them, have to be, right?

I mean, I could accept them getting thousands, even tens of thousands, of views from clickbait Frozen and Spiderman titles, but several million of views?

It's assumed they have the tags/titles configured in such a way that when parents put on videos for their kids (stuff like educational kids shows and channels on Youtube, "wheels on the bus" and the like), that they autoplay after some of the videos.

They are basically getting ad revenue from babies and toddlers of inattentive parents.

I let my 4 year old have tablet time and he'll watch a lot of YouTube and sometimes this stuff comes up (autoplay). If he started imitating some of the stuff or watched only that stuff I might be more concerned. We're parents that are involved and quick to curb any bad behavior though so I could see how it could be bad. The really cool part of it is he'll get a lot of ideas of how to play with toys then add stuff of his own and add his own stuff.

Honestly kids stuff in general can be messed up. Thinking back I watched a lot of messed up stuff:

-Tom&jerry and wile e coyote is like torture porn

-Pepe Le pew is a stalker that harasses women

-Thundercats...Semi nude half beast half man ... Basically the beginnings of furry culture
