Yep, not until the dev team updates the game.If you get max gear now (ilvl 605 weapon and ilvl 600 gear otherwise) then there won't be better gear until 7.0, right?
There will be. When 6.2 hits, the next batch of 8-man raids will release with new savage tier gear a few weeks later. There will be new tomestones for yet stronger gear. This will occur yet again with patch 6.4.If you get max gear now (ilvl 605 weapon and ilvl 600 gear otherwise) then there won't be better gear until 7.0, right?
Playing ARR. Level 20 quests on level 28. Just got my own Chocobo.
These quests are bad. Trying to push on but after some interesting stuff the game has returned to fetch quests and talk to this person quests. I know it is supposed to get a lot better but getting there is starting to get painful.
The quest design doesn't get that much better, only the story payoffs. 200 hours later you will still be traveling from A to B to talk to NPCs 1, 2, and 3 haha. But it does get a little more variety and certainly a ton more voice acting.
Eureka was even better in that regard (communicating + adventuring through a dangerous area with others). Well, except for the grind part, which was significantly worse lolI think have stockholm syndrome for Bozja. Was just thinking today on that entire experience. My first skirmishes and critical engagements. Actually communicating with other players, even if it was just to join a party or ask for a res. Learning Casstrum Lacus Litore, Delubrum Reginae, and the Dalriada. Playing around with the lost memories. It was a grind for sure, but looking back those are some of my strongest memories with this game outside the MSQ lol
Isn’t that an elden ring boss?
Glory to our superior doggo mounts!
My character uses my online gamer name (Celcius) but I also tried to make my character look as much like me as possible.Everyone here actually roleplaying like they're supposed to and my character is just a Hyur with my real first name, real height, and real hair/skin color.
4 expansions deep too late to change now tho. It just makes for a more first-person kind of roleplaying.
Probably will be where they deposit those joke weapons we saw for the winning art submissions. I’m all for it.New Relic Questline will be the legendary Manderville Weapons!!
Oof, after all these years I’ve never done a single quest in this series. That’s looking like a big time investment…New Relic Questline will be the legendary Manderville Weapons!!

Man I never get tired of listening to Close in the Distance no matter how many times I hear it:
I think I'm going to resub tomorrow after work. There aren't any other games coming out that I'm looking forward to until October and I wanna spend more time getting into the harder difficulty content. Right at the end of my last sub I started working on P1S, and even though they're updating it so that you can jump into any savage in the tier now I still want to work my way through P1S -> P2S -> P3S -> P4S. Then once I can clear all of that and and get my BIS gear and have learned about the high-end content mechanics and such then I can get to my true goal: I wanna clear Dragonsong's Reprise (Ultimate). I realize this will take a long time and many many hours (maybe months?) of practice, but I really want that Ultimate Halbard of the Heavens lol.
This will undoubtedly be a long journey but the only way to get there is to take one step at a time I guess. I've been playing FF14 for years though so hopefully the learning curve won't be too severe.
It doesn’t take very long these days, you can do it in a week. Areadbhar Lux is still the best looking dragoon weapon in the game, I doubt I’ll ever replace it. If you’re going for a relic, that’s the one to go for.Hmm, maybe next I want to try getting my first relic weapon. Gae Bolg Nexus and Areadbhar Lux both look amazing. Plus it would also be something new to do. How long do these usually take to get and max out the shine?
Yep that’s the one I’m going for. I made a lot of progress yesterday and today… I think I’m a little over halfway done. Today feels like I spent almost the entire day just jumping from hunt train to hunt train farming poetics lol. Now I understand what people mean when they say “the relic grind”. Fortunately I got a ton of clusters from doing the hunt trains too, then traded all of that for materia, then made a ton of money from that on the market boards, then used that to buy the other materials I needed from the market board. It doesn’t take very long these days, you can do it in a week. Well I have made quite the progress since March, and despite me feeling like most of stormblood wasn't great, it seriously has picked up post credits. And last night I did not see that coming...
"Duty calls, commence battle for Emisarry of the Dawn"? For this battle, you will take control of Alphanoid"
Is this the only online game toAdmittedly it wasn't that much fun, but it was more the shock that they actually did it.take control away from your online character and let you play as someone else?
Nice, that's hardcore. Getting one HW relic weapon was a real grind but getting ALL of them? I salute you.I recently grinded my way through ALL HW relics. I probably carried 40+ people through all of coil/coil savage, 50/60 primals, and alexander/alexander savage for the 1st time poetics bonuses. I started on doing more Eureka Weapons, and so far haven't had trouble with botters, but I already have a full set of +2 armor from back when the content was fresh. Even then, it is dreadfully slow compared to Animas.
Since I'll never land a large house, I splurged on the 50M mount. Weeeeee.
