I might still be waiting on my V-Pet for a little while, but I did get my Juri and Leomon figure in last night, and that thing is amazing. One of the best figures in my collection now.

Yeah, this thing is big. And it looks great. I'm impressed with how well sculpted Leomon is in particular. The pictures don't even really do it complete justice. They really got all of the finer details just right.

I feel like with Juri getting a figure, Jianliang and Shaochung are pretty much guaranteed to get one eventually. Especially since their partners are still really popular, too. I wouldn't be surprised to see them among the next set of figures they show off sculpts for (although we'll probably see someone from Frontier soon, given that its anniversary is this year).
I'm not really worried about them getting the Miyako/Iori treatment since people actually like Tamers. Now the real test is if they'll give me a Hirokazu/Guardromon figure.
Niceeee. Mine probably won't be in for a while, but yeah GEM figures are amazing. They suckered me into Pokemon ones now, too (and those are starting to do larger scale statues too...)

Speaking of the expo. Colleen O'Shaughnessy and Joshua Seth have been tweeting about the Tri stuff going on there. Digimon Sub > Dub, imo, but I never would have gotten into it without the English voice cast, so it's nice to see them doing promo stuff for Digimon again.
Man, I really hope Frontier doesn't get shafted on the merchandise front. I would love to see some stuff for that season. I keep feeling like they're going to do the bare minimum for it.
I hate Miyako and Iori's "eh" tier, but I love Hawkmon and Armadimon, so it sucks that all 02 stuff stops at Ken/Wormmon and Daisuke/V-mon.

Remember to account for import fees, if you're going to pay them and the BS Royal mail charge (around £8). Check eBay as well, the sellers there match proxy prices sometimes.

I had a look on eBay and the going rate for the 20th Anniversary V-Pets on there seems to be £75 + £5 postage. This is likely because it's gone to pre-order again now and isn't available until December.
The price of the actual product is 3,780 yen which is about £26. Even with shipping costs and Royal Mail customs charges I'm going to be about £40 better off importing directly, just means I likely have to wait until December or January to get it.
Have placed an order through From Japan, I think I got it right, pasted in the item name in Japanese from the product page, set Quantity to 1 and then pasted in the Omegamon colour in Japanese, along with selecting to upload the image of the Omegamon packaging. Never used one of these shopping proxy services before.

- Groundramon is in, so its practically guarenteed that Dragomon line is in.
- Chaosdramon had 2 Special Attacks. This is neat, since in CS only Royal Knights + Wargreymon and Metalgarurumon had 2. They must've increased amount of mons that have 2 now.

In tri, that seen with HeracleKabuterimon holding everyone was probably the most moving for me so far.
Also, my Digimon have not died yet surprisingly. I've gotten like 12 or so calls so far though because the screen gets filled with so much poop and despite being right next to it, I never heard it beeping. Might've had something louder than it going at the time though.

Now I just need Coronamon's and Hyokomon's lines! (Hyokomon's not happening, but Gracenovamon being a thing gives me hope for Coronamon.)
The unique animations were one of my favorite aspects of Cyber Sleuth, so it's cool they're adding more.
The sprites are a bit of a pain to get, but I'm determined on having all of them! I really want the Gracenovamon sprites, but I'll have to battle it first, which will take awhile with the five-battles-a-day thing. I'm up to the Adult levels at the moment.
I've found the v-pet beeping too loud when you are using it, yet not loud enough when you need it to be. My Digimon keep evolving behind my back!

I don't know if it's my end, but I couldn't see your picture, so I'll put it in for my sake. With the Will has more info on it as well as Gabumon -> MetalGarurumon's release date.
These digivolving figures aren't half bad; I might be turning around on them. The Rookie/Gatomon forms may end up looking like crap, but the Ultimate/Mega forms are looking as good as they could be for a transforming figure. I'm still salty about no HerculesKabuterimon though...
I initially misread your "Zudomon" as "Zubamon" and now really want a Zubamon figure that transforms into the weapon form.
Start at Adventure and go from there. I'm probably one of the biggest 02 haters out there, but I still think you should watch it. The first half and anything involving Ken is good. The only one I would skip is Young Hunters (Xros Wars: Season 3), but that has the episodes where the leaders from the different seasons team up, so maybe it's worth it for that?
If you haven't seen the original Japanese version and grew up on the English version, I'd suggest going for the original with subs, if you can. It aged better. I'm not sure how the other dubs hold up.
Fuck. I slept a little too long and my Blitz Greymon died because the screen was filled with poop and I didn't heal them. I wanted them to die naturally. Guess I'll wait for Skull Mamothmon to die too before getting a new egg.

Are Adventure subs (or any Digimon) available legally anymore? I remember watching them on Netflix a long time ago but now they just seem to have the dub which is disappointing. :/
The dub doesn't hold up imo. Not that it's horrible, I think it did a lot of things right in keeping the seriousness of the kids' situations, but as you get older you really notice how much stupid gags they punched up the script with since they basically couldn't have any scene be silent.

Strange as it is, there is a legal way to watch subbed Digimon, US PSN. Unfortunately, the quality sucks, it's $2 per episode, and it's only seasons 2 and 3.

The Tamers subs on Netflix were decent (white subs, consistent name usage, although bizarrely they used "Ultimate" for both Perfect level and Ultimate level, which could be confusing), but those other ones were pretty bad (early Adventure episodes were okay-ish, but later Adventure episodes and especially 02 were just laughable).
I'd still buy disc versions of the shows, even with those dubtitles :x One day I want to be able to unload my HDD... :/

Digimon's been heavily mismanaged in the west for years, and it's gone through multiple different companies by this point. That's part of the reason why official releases can be so hard to find.

The day subbed Digimon left Netflix was a sad one, especially since people are interested in watching the previous seasons before Tri.
At least now we are getting things like Digimon Story/World, Tri, and nostalgic Digimon merchandise.

When I did my massive rewatch every dubbed episode from Adventure to Frontier was on Youtube. All of Savers subbed was on Youtube as well, which got me to rewatch the first 4 seasons.

Welp, was gonna let Skull Mamothmon die of age but I guess ultimates live a long ass time because he would not die naturally. He finally died today of hunger while I was in the shower. RIP.

Is there a requirement list for the new v-pet?
Not really for any of the new additions, but for the version 1-5 eggs there are for Baby1-Perfect thanks to the old vpet guides. Nothing for ultimates yet. I'm thinkinking to get ultimate you need a 90% or higher win rate because all you need for perfect is 80% or more. For fusion it's probably like a 90% tag battle win rate. Could even be 100% for all I know, haven't had a chance to try fusing yet.

Apparently Dracomon gets two different eggs for the two evolution lines: one dark colored egg and one light colored egg.
In similar news, the requirement for the anime eggs is BS and makes Omegamon a bigger pain than Alphamon to get. You need to connect to five different V-pets. I don't know if it's been confirmed whether old V-pets and Digivices count towards the number. It seems resetting and changing the name of another 20th anniversary V-pet will make it count as a different connection each time.
