The campaign content is pretty good. Some of the best set pieces in the game not in a raid.
It’s unfortunate there’s never a reason to revisit its content.
They dropped the ball not bringing back those reworked campaign missions this solstice plus some more. It was pretty awesome from what I recall. Just give us a challenge and some good loot and it would be nice to try again.

Define ready? I'm going in with very low expectations since the last two years of D2 content have been far below my expectations and I still expect them to mess it up when it comes to overstocking the eververse with the good shit. My 1 hope that could bring me back to play some would be the PVP changes getting the gameplay in crucible to be more like d1. PVE I've given up on TBH, I've found all of the D2 raids to be ranging from god awful to meh at best and I'm done wasting time grinding out boring raids hoping for a 5% drop rate exotic I'll never see.

Austringer is the best on console. Well, luna’s Howl is still king on console but austringer is close... followed by spare rations.
You want rifles barrel, accurized rounds, eye of the storm and rangefinder and keep grinding it until you get itZ

You don’t. All gear for all characters for even new f2p players will be 750 and starting at character level 50.
They killed leveling but ... the artifact leveling could be a better alternative to the previous meaningless character lvl.
My warlock didn’t finish the red war campaign.
I’m gonna put in for a week’s vacation last minute. Should work out.
Patrols on the moon being given by dead guardian ghosts and voice acted is a ni e touch.
From all the official gameplay vids of the 1st and 2nd mission that dropped yesterday from all the uoutubers envied to Bungie .... there’s a shit ton in-game storytelling.

New details. Shattered throne can now be launched from the director and will be available to play all the time and not just in rotation every 3 weeks. The forges will also be launchable from the director

I don't think you need plus for anything outside of things like Raids, but it may not even limit those anymore. We won't know for sure til update.

Any idea how achievements/trophies work, Do you unlock both at the same time on each platform or just unlock them on what platform your playing on at the time.

So on route to the Gatekeeper ghost I found a hidden "luna scavanger" asleep in the corner, naturally I killed him then some odd mini event kicked off with a chest at the end.
This location was the room with the wizards on the way to phogarth in Destiny 1 the odd guy is right at the back where you pick up the sword in that other quest in destiny 1.
Edit: was a blue item in the chest as well as one of those phantasmal fragments, probably nothing.
