This thread reminds me of that Colo Colo Twitter account fan that writes on english and to this day I can't tell if he is a foreigner or not, or if he is real or a parody.

About the wieners discussion, I'm super biased.

I was born on Puerto Montt, so I was educated by my mother to only eat Llanquihue (Or rather said, Modinger, which is the last name of the owners)

One of the heirs lived on the same building that me, all of them had german descendency, they were nice people.

Also, the chancho lorenzo is so iconic on the Chinquihue Stadium that is impossible to me for other weiner. My mother only buys that brand even here on Santiago and even if I had no problems eating other brands, I really feel that Llanquihue has a superior quality.

Are domino's completos made with llanquihue? Like I said I had eaten them all the time and those are not the same weiners. Unless they produce them some special ones for them

Is funny that some sport page interviewed him and said that he was from holland.

Still, some phrases seem to had a wide knowledge and chilean culture, heck, a meme that we had with some phrases is celebrate colo colo victories with "Cameron quesos" writing the phrases on english

oh yes. Goddamn, I have to go to Fuente Alemana soon. Gotta have them lomitos.

Also, Llanquiue/Mödinger sausages are probably the best commercial-brand available - I'm sure there are some artesanales that are better, but in terms of mass availabilty Llanquihue > the rest IMHO

Bavaria's prietas however... fuck yeah.

You know nothing. Domino and Fuente Alemana are nothing. You have to go to Poker, it's right next to the Teatro Municipal de Santiago, they have home cooked burgers and completos that are the real god food.

They have the Poker Burger, that have a home cooked burger, fresh lettucce, tomatoes, jam and cheese a la plancha,with home cooked mayo, and oh god, it's huge.

Are any of the people here that live in the US going to the Copa America Centenario games? I'll be in Europe around those dates but I did some research for some family members and the ticket prices for single games on stubhub are ridiculous.

Its still stupid, this shit is proven to be useless and all countries should stop using it. One of the few things that Piñera did right but I guess our politicians only join when its time to raise their salaries, for the rest of the things they need to be sectarian.

And bummer about the daylight savings time, i started not too long ago to run with my 4 year old (She asked me one day if we could go outside to run and we haven't stopped since 2 weeks ago). Hope the night doesn't kill her enthusiasm.

The 'disquiet' reminded me of how when I was like 9 I once asked my teacher how the @ (at) symbol was pronounced in English and she said 'arroba' in an English accent, like 'arrouba'. It was funny and pathetic. I googled the answer afterwards and subsequently ignored her for the rest of the year, but I got 7s in all my grades. Pretty sure even at that age I knew English better than her.

Lost 15.000 at the casino. Fuck Chile and pay to enter casinos. You'd think they'd want more people to blow money on their rigged slot machines but no.

I only lost 2.000 actually gambling lol.

3.100 entrada, 2 kunstmanns 4.500 each.

I always say never again but I end up going 3-5 times a year.

I have rotten luck at the slot machines. Like, almost literally.

On the other hand, one of my best friend's mom has won millions. He also has won - a considerably smaller amount, but still more than me. They're the luckiest family I know :p

San Pedro is the fucking shit. My god the beauty. So many tourists though. The centre of town is 99% tourist agencies.

I'm in a hostal sharing a 4 bed dorm with 3 hot chilean sisters aged 23-33. I'll take one of each please.

I stopped in Antofagasta and actually liked what I saw. Everyone always tells me how shit it is. I will say that it has shown the side of Chile I have yet to see on a grand scale - the poverty. There are some big "slum" areas in Antofagasta.

Those "Slums" are mostly of foreigners.

That's the result of our social segregation of the latin foreigners and xenophobia. We suck in that department
