I never said Splatoon would sell better in the US than in Japan.
I think USA sales are really good, and Japan sales are insane. :p

That said, i think Splatoon will sell around 2 million lifetime in the US ( including digital )...
What's your prediction? :D

Until Dawn is one of SCEE's new big IP/franchises. I want sequels during this gen and more support for Supermassive Games. Hope SCEE acquires them. What a great studio. They made a very unique game. Simply brilliant.

Most likely. August is a holidays month in Japan.

October will be interesting

Uncharted Collection bundle on 9th October along with exclusive Japanese titles. Then Xbox with Halo on the 20th.


It will be hard to say who will win, both are system sellers.

There's no way anyone could think PS4 will win October. Halo 5 is the biggest exclusive the Xbone will ever get (barring a Minecraft 2 or something), MS has that month on lockdown.

Monthly Wii U sales in the US aren't that much lower than LTD XB1 sales in Japan. Japanese XB1 hardware sales make the 360 look like the Nintendo DS.

Uncharted has no where near the popularity of Halo.

Shocked at Until Dawn. Considering the type of game it is. Cant wait to finally play it.

I'm confused now. Are PS4 numbers this year tracking over or under 2008? Sounds like it's on par to surpass? If that's the case, how can it be tracking under? I remember PS3 having a middling holiday season in 2008, if I'm not mistaken.

But Zhuge, its a number representing an unknown value, if CoD only sold four copies and UD is above it... it could have sold five!

But more seriously, we need numbers before we know how well anything did under Minecraft because I suspect the numbers might be lower than people think unless Minecraft had a really, really good month all of a sudden.

I don't buy those games until they fall below $20. There's so many Lego games out there, it makes no sense to pay a premium for the latest one.

The numbers were low this month in general (Apart from Madden ofc)

Yes, PS3 holidays sales in 2008 was crap.
The PS3 sales in 2008 was pretty good in the normal months, better than PS4 in 2015 and 2014, but with those holidays, PS4 will easy sell more.

It's traditionally had stronger sales than uncharted, but the 360 lead in console sales for that gen also.
It'll be interesting to see how sales compare to previous installments.
With the change to 343i, then MCC issues, and releasing on the #2 platform.

It should still win. New game vs remasters. But the numbers will be interesting.
