NPD doesn't count bundles.
yea i know.

Forza 4 was in the NPD chart in Oct 11. GT5 was in the NPD chart in Nov 2010 as was Fable 3. Racing games do well enough to chart even on an individual SKU basis.
that's due to bundles.
So ready for this generation to end.
Its interesting to contrast what the install bases were in the NA market at the start of this generation:
From a post dated 14/12/06
PS2: 35.8 million
GBA: 34.3 million
DS: 7.6 million
PSP: 5.7 million
Xbox 360: 3.4 million
Wii: 476 thousand
PS3: 197 thousand
So, this pretty much confirms that 360 has now surpassed where PS2 was at its time of launch, but contrasted against the PS2's global install base at that time, it shows how different the picture has been internationally.
Crazy, so the Forza franchise is still around due to it being bundled?
Why doesn't more franchises use this form of success!
Vita ~ 35k, better than Aug.

This generation started a year before that article was written.

You mentioned bundles in an NPD thread so you confused me because of course, NPD doesn't count them.
So again, I ask... do we have a top 10 break down for October 12?
The US market is a completely lost cause for PS Vita.
He mentioned bundles because someone mentioned Forza does well in Europe, which it does because it's bundled out the wazoo. It's the standard pack in game in the UK. But as you point out this thread is about the US so Forza sales in the EU are irrelevant.
We don't have individual SKUs, suffice to say in the past Forza 4 charted, Fable 3 charted. Forza Horizon didn't and neither did Fable TJ. XCom at no. 10 is 114k. Their sales must have been absolutely terrible.

What the hell? What? Whaaat?
This has to be the lowest monthly total in North America for PS Vita.
On average, PS Vita is selling about 24 units in each US state daily, hows that for a stat.

After August, I think the PSV sold fewer units in only one month in 2012.This has to be the lowest monthly total in North America for PS Vita.

Xcom isn't in the top 10
another sad day for the Vita
If AC3 Liberation and CoD don't prop the Vita up, I have a nice collector's item.
At least I can catch up on PSP games I missed out on.

We're going to need a "So the Vita is pretty much over, what did you think" thread soon.
