Bit of a drop between Sen and Sen II. Was hoping to at least see it match the first game.

That being said, the first has been selling well digitally, and it's possible they didn't ship as much as last time since I was seeing it sold out all over the place.

Not a bad opening by any means, but still.

Just when is this one gonna stop selling... it's gonne be huge during the holidays.

Only 31k/week, and 3m before the end of the year is a lock. I never thought it'd sell so well for so long after such a strong 1st week.

It could be worse. Not that bad for a FF title, I guess. Anyway, it seems that Wii U HW sales won't increase even with "hardcore/japanese" games being released.

I think this is the 1st time Wii U have 3 games in the top 20........I could be wrong.

Granted the sales are very low, but new highlight for the struggling Wii U.

Kind of funny the 3DS is still in first with the new3DS almost out.

FF numbers are a shame... The Wii U now has tons of good games, but no one cares.

Happy at Vita and Sen no Kiseki stuff. I got the PSP games on (JP) PS plus, and am waiting for a rainy day (year) to complete them.

Error on the translator's part. Still, it's almost as good as Project Zero 4's opening, so I don't think there's reason to complain about its performance other than it being not scheduled for a release in the west.

I used to be happy when I saw japanese sales. Nowadays not so much. Because:

1. Hardware sales always seem horrible
2. Game sales are not that impressive as well
3. Games like Ryu Ga Gotoku, The Legend Of Heroes, ect. wil not be translated.

Sorry if I'm a party pooper. I just wanted to add a comment to the thread. Still, I appreciate the effort from Chris :)

I add: good hold for Smash, Wii U doubled its own 2013 weekly sales but still behind YtD. I wonder if they will be able to repeat the good 2013 holiday season results. It will all depend on Smash, but with the huge success of the 3DS version, I'm doubtful...

Did Ao outperform Zero?

My normal expectation for 'direct sequel' games are that unless it was a massively huge success, a sequel normally shows minor drops.

Pretty brutal debut for Zero. They have to release it in the west now to try and make up for that... right?
