Yoshi should go back to his old island, this new one isn't working out.

The bump for Mario Kart 8 and Wii U is due to a holiday, according to the last thread.

Woah, great to see some increases even for Mario Kart and Wii U. I guess the increases are due to the ending "free game" promotion?

Also: How is the Yoshi's New Island start, compared to YIDS? I hope Nintendo will be happy with its sales.

Monday was a holiday, so that should explain the bump for Wii U and MK8 (and 3DS, though Youkai Watch 2 is mostly reponsible for that).

Anyway, Yoshi's New Island really underperformed. Yoshi's Island DS was a million seller iirc. It isn't a very good game though so, meh.

Mm, not really.

It's the third game in the current series, closing out the trilogy started with the first game.

Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient is the episodic series on the PC, but only the first entry released before the series was paused so that work on Blood Drive could wrap up.

Also for what it's worth, I couldn't find copies of CP anywhere in Nagasaki prefecture. I think the shipment might have been super low. There were stores that never even stocked the game at all.

Ended up having to go digital.

It's a direct sequel to Corpse Party: Book of Shadows actually. Think of it as Lightning Returns and Corpse Party Blood Drive as FFXIII (and Book of Shadows as XIII-2)... And Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient as FFXIV/FFXV

I guess I got that one mixed up with the next Danganronpa game, which he is indeed a spin-off.

Well Ni No Kuni PS3 sold much much better in the west than in Japan.

But why would they risk developing a costly console release when handheld is cheaper and more popular in the country they make most of their money from anyway?

While the Wii U is still behind last years YTD at this point, it will be interesting to see if this apparent new baseline will allow it to surpass it by the end of the year. Smash coming to 3DS first could hurt.
