Everything is dead.

Well if you want to pick some positives Vita would be probably battling against WiiU without Minecraft. Now it's not actually that much down yoy. PS4 also up yoy but considering how low those numbers still are it's not exactly a reason for huge celebration.

Yowza that's a weak week (hah)! Minecraft continues to sell, to no one's great surprise. Wake me up when something exciting happens in Japan.

Can't believe how bad CNS bombed.

And SE made a big mistake padding Bravely Default the first go round. I'm sure that had an effect on sales of Bravely Second. I know I'm not anticipating it after that chore that was chapter 5-8 of the last game (although I'm still gonna buy it).

#1 didn't even sell 16K? Codename STEAM sold less than 2K? I don't normally follow these things, but this seems pretty bad. If this is what the future of console gaming in Japan holds, then there is no Japan console future. Good thing the west is holding strong.

I feel with this week we are seeing what we will start to see in other markets in a year or so. 3DS numbers were kept aloft by a high take up of the XL from OG owners, and then those same users boasted Vita by also picking that up too!

However now they all have their hardware. The potential userbase is very small with everyone owning these systems.
