Long ago, in the distant reaches of Land's End, an unforeseen rainfall transformed all living things into frenzied undead monstrosities known as the Blighted. Faced with a calamity far beyond their understanding, the kingdom fell into ruin with no end to the accursed rain in sight.

For players waiting for new content, we apologize for the wait, but we would like add all the new areas as part of the official release

As a first step, based on feedback we received from all of you since the beginning of the early access, we made some changes to the game systems in hopes of making the gameplay experience more enjoyable. Those changes are described in detail below.

  • Add a new "Hold" mode for summon set switch that can be activated in the game settings
  • Allow binding of mouse buttons in keyboard settings
  • Allow binding of UI inputs in keyboard settings
  • Add a "Hide UI" option in pause menu
  • Add options to hide player UI, enemies floating gauges in game settings

Adjustments
■Gameplay
  • Change most "Interaction" input to not require directional press
    (pick up an item, activate switch, restpoint)
  • Adjust camera speed when using the auto climb action
  • Update some UI elements
  • Allow wrap in most menus
  • Add footer in most menus
  • Zoom out minimap for better visibility

  • Change conversations in events to proceed by player input instead of automatically

ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights
v1.0 is now available! Five more areas have been added to those available in Early Access, bringing the total up to eight. More bosses stand ready to be defeated and join Lily’s side. Her spirit companions can all be fully upgraded, new secrets lurk in the shadows waiting to be found, and the story can now be completed.

Players who have purchased ENDER LILIES in Steam Early Access will receive the v1.0 update at no cost.

Furthermore, save data from Early Access will carry over into the full game. However, since updates have been made to the opening and tutorial we recommend starting over from the beginning.

Our beautiful soundtrack from musical group Mili, who has contributed tracks to acclaimed anime franchises including
Ghost in the Shell
and
Goblin Slayer
as well as rhythm games such as
Cytus
and
Deemo

Wishlisted. Looks fucking dope. But waiting for full release. Hate early access. (Doing The same with baldurs gate 3). I want to enjoy fully developed games. Though it’s good if people go for early access and support it.

I normally agree. Since this one is close to release I opted to go for it. I also like picking it up at a discount.

My hope is that the progression will carry over to the full release but I’m assuming it won’t.

I should say as well That I put in about 90 mins yesterday and the gameplay is solid. There's a nice difficulty curve so far. I've unlocked 5 enemies / attacks in addition to the 1 you start with.

The atmosphere is amazingly crafted. The art looks fantastic. I did see one YTer complain about the lack of VO (I do agree) and the sparse music (I disagree here).
Gameplay-wise the platforming isn't top-tier, but there's not much in the way of a challenge from platforming. Combat is largely satisfying. You unlock the new attacks from bosses or harder versions of standard enemies. They come fairly quickly and add a nice change of pace to different battles.

Looks really cool! Nice OP btw.

I'll join the wait for final release club tho, as I've learned my lesson with early access, but I'm happy people have the chance to try it.

The rest of the story and content will be released at that time. Between now and then, we'll still be working on bugs for the content available in Early Access, so keep an eye out for patches if you're having trouble with the game.

If you care to post a mini review once you're done with it, I'd be interested in hearing your thoughts. I'm definitely a fan of the genre.

Sure thing! So far, the closest game I can compare it to is Salt & Sanctuary, but it's still fairly different. It's tough but fair, and everytime you save at a rest spot, enemies respawn (which allows for experience grinding). One nice change is that you don't suffer any losses when you die- You simply respawn at the last used resting spot with everything you earned before dying. Also, you can quickly teleport back to the last used rest spot at anytime, as well as use them to fast travel around the map. :)

The only thing I don't enjoy is the mapping system. It could stand to have more details so you can easily tell where you are. It's better than nothing and at least lets you know basics such as where a save spot is and which rooms have been completed...but I found myself getting a bit confused trying to place exactly where I was in each room in relation to the exits.

It was only $24.99 and so far it's been worth it. I'll try to remember to post more once I finish it! :)

It looks great! I loved the first game but I don't have a Playstation for the sequel. My hope is it eventually releases on XBox or Switch.

Also, my comparing Ender Lilies to S&S may have been completely wrong. I had forgotten some of ways S&S played, and the two games are probably much more different than I had remembered. It really is its own thing. :)

Man I was bummed that this got no sale whatsoever in the Steam summer sale. It's not that it's a bad price or anything, but I just have some sort of issue buying games full price anymore. It's high on my wishlist, I will get it sooner than later for sure. It looks great.

Also, great news about S&S2. It was tied with Death's Gambit in my head for the best 2D Soulsvania.

I just got all the achievements for this game, and while I definitely got very frustrated in a few parts, I ended up loving the game overall. It can be tough, but is always fair. The only real difficulty was the fact that even at level 100, your character is seemingly made of glass and takes massive damage. I had to change my usual tank/overpowering damage playstyle I've used on many Metroidvania titles to actually learning to dodge or parry pretty much everything.

One thing that I really loved about the game (aside from the artistic style and music) was how creative you could be with your weapon/blight/relic loadouts. So many combinations work so well together in such different ways. Also, you can get very creative in platforming traversal with the different abilities to get to seemingly unreachable areas.


I probably played longer than most will at around 60 hours, trying to upgrade everything to maximum level. It was an awesome experience, and one of my favorite Metroidvania games in a while. I can't wait to see what the development team comes up with next. :)

The right comparison is hollow knight but i'm enjoying this one far more for now.

Yeah this one is low key one of the better metroidvania of the last years.

If you like metroidvanias but you don't like the amount of platform that you can find in hollow knight or ori, this one is for you.
