The previous OT thread turned into endless series of tweets about how bad Fauci was and how we don't know how effective masks are. Which is quite political and, as the GAF overlord ruled out discussing politics on this forum, the thread was locked.

Updates on Germany:
7th of June was the promised date of dropping the vaccination restrictions (before, only protected groups/65+ could).
And let it sink in, in a country of 82 million, there were already 55 million doses administered (45.7% of population got at least one jab, of which 21.3% is fully vaccinated) up until now only protected groups/65+ could get it.
After some fighting with "home doctor", my wife managed to get an appointment for J&J by the end of June.
Pfizer (in Germany, strictly "BioNTech" ) was not an option (standard "call in 3 weeks" answer).
Jabs Germany got as of 6th of June:
Top to bottom: J&J (1.7M), Moderna (5.8M), AZ (10.8M), BioNTech-Pfizer (42.7M).
Crazy bit: AZ was supposed to be the dominant vaccine.
