Errr... while technically they've only "confirmed" that Black Siren, Dinah and Slade survive, they've also confirmed that all of the team are still main cast members so you can sort of guess from there.

They mentioned that some consequences of the isalnd might not be just death.

Hyped. Couldn't believe the recovery the show managed last season. Hope it continues. And Emerson as a big bad? Hell yes.
And if they ever do Batman cameo (or even just Bruce Wayne) then just cast Jim Caviezel :)

Rebirth is absolutely glorious for Green Arrow. Easily one of the best Rebirth series. From New52 just read Lemire run. It ended way to early, but while it ran it was very fun (Rebirth easily surpassed it though).
It;s actually funny that Green Arrow managed a simultaneous ressurgence in both TV and comics at the same time. Now all we need is a video game.

Yeah I know about it but out of sheer curiosity I wanted to try the rest. I had never read many comics before that, and when I started recently I only read highly recommended stuff. It's really bad otherwise.

I've read vol4 of N52 and I have 5+6 ready to read. Just wanted to do 1-3 as well for the lulz and see just how bad it could really be. it is not good.

I know that Slade was under the effects of Mirakuru, but he brutally murdered Oliver and Thea's mom in front of them. It just looks super weird seeing them shake hands now. I'm all for redemption arcs and all that but really...

Even Slade mentioned it was strange. The two have a weird relationship (Oliver won't kill the guy and feels responsible for him), ten years of history and they've been separated for a year and a half at this point. The show has been pretty consistent at showing that Slade is still the 'rival' that's had the most impact on Oliver. He was Oliver's opponent in the 100th when each other character got someone who represented their past. Ray got a mirakuru soldier because one killed Anna. Poor Ray wasn't well represented in that episode.

They skip a little bit of time and talk to get Slade back into the game. It's fair. They didn't really explain why post-mirakuru Slade in S3 was still nuts whereas he's fine by the end of S5 but who really cares.

Why would you willingly do that to yourself? Hurry, get back to reading Outsiders War and be freed of this nonsense.

But I suppose there's something to be said for reading bad comics to realize how easily this shit can turn out to be crap, to gain some appreciation for those that make it work.

It's like blaming somebody who was possesed. Plus Oliver is feeling guilty. If he cured Slade on the island instead of picking revenge his mother would still be alive. He has vested personal interest to see Slade redeemed, especially considering how tight they were before.

There are glimpses of bright moment in the earlier N52 run but they literally exist for like 3 panels at a time and then it's back to Oliver being a spoiled brat because reasons. Like wow work is hard time to run off with hot triplets who keep kidnapping me or go to China to wreck shit or pick a fight with metahumans in Europe cause I got nothing better to do.

I'm sure Lemire's GA run isn't as left wing/socialist as I hear Rebirth is but at least even reading Kill Machine I get the idea everything happening to Oliver is personal/affects him on some fundamental character level and isn't just a rich brat who can shoot arrows good and gets pat on the back for being the good guy at the end of the day.

She was also in iZombie being a marvelous (and murderous) b. I'm pretty sure she's the only
criminal
in that show that manages to
get away.

I guess it sort of makes sense. It's just that Slade killing mama Queen was probably the most powerful moment of the entire series and them being all buddy buddy after that kind of dilutes that moment. Also, I'd rather prefer an evil/semi-evil Deathstroke than a good guy one. Ah well, let's see how they proceed from here. More Manu is always a good thing.

Disappointed that they didn't kill off Felicity, I hate that character with a passion, but I need to finish watching season 5. My hate is from season 3/4 nonsense lol.
